The Spring House Commons B & B
This historic bed and breakfast is a favorite for travelers. The Spring
House features casual dining, complimentary beverages, and cozy
appointed rooms. You can enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or a
tasty cappuccino on our porch either watching the eagles or the morning
rafters. Meet other guest staying with the us or enjoy a friendly
conversation with many of the locals that patron our cafe. A bed and breakfast with no restrictions on when you come and go or who you have to eat with.
Recently Listed on the National Register of Historic Places is
located along the Delaware River and Route 97 in Barryville, NY you
will find The Spring House Commons. This historic building is well
known for being one of the last historic boarding houses/hotels still
standing in Sullivan County. It is now approx. 123 years old. You can
read about The Spring House in a book called "Remembering the Sullivan
County Catskills" by John Conway and another book "Reminiscence" by J.
W. Johnson.
